Mom and Papà got revenge yesterday but I am already working on the strike back plan.

So I have been going on fabulously and happily with my sleeping pattern I don’t understand what Mom and Papà’s problem with it is. I mean, I sleep well! When it is light out and there is a lot of background noise, I sleep and when it is dark and silent, I am awake and, clearly, want to play.

So what’s the problem guys?!?! Everyone we meet tells you what a well-behaved good baby I am so why the fuss?!?!

Anyway, they decided that they wanted to change my sleeping habits (for reasons, as mentioned above, I don’t understand!) and have tried everything.

First, 30 g of chamomile tea at night. It tasted good, but really had no effect since I was already well rested. Then, they went the more “brutal” route. They didn’t let me sleep! Every time I tried, they kept me up by playing with me, having me eat, etc. (OK, so I didn’t really suffer and I have to admit I enjoyed the extra play time). By the time night came around, I was pooped! Mom had me eat a lot and then, as if that wasn’t enough, I got chamomile again. Although I like it, I was too tired to drink much. So that is what they did to me! (Though I’ll never admit it to Mom, I actually slept quite well. Please don’t tell her)

Well, it is the morning and as you can see from the photo, I am already working and a plan of counter attack! I’ll keep you posted.

Mom – He can say anything he wants, but we are better rested today and I think today will be the first day in 2.5 months that Papà can drive to work without risking an accident because of falling asleep on the motorino! (and you can see from the other picture…he doesn’t hate being awake during the day that much)

Prodigal Feet

Although there have been some developments on the “bodily liberation” front, we will save you the gory details and just say… Andrew is once again happy and that’s all you need to know.

Papà had a favorite game he played with Andrew over the vacation which involved holding his feet (Andrew’s) under running water. At first, he was skeptic but then he began to enjoy the game. It has been a while since he played the game so we tried it today (unfortunately, Papà couldn’t join us as he is at work). Same skeptic and, let’s face it, quite oral reaction at the beginning. However, he got over it quickly. We even added on to the game. We filled the sink with water and Andrew sat on the edge with his feet in it. I realize that a picture of this would have been fabulous to acconpany this post, but mom couldn’t take a picture while holding Andrew (though the mirror would have been a good tool, we’ve already experimented and the results weren’t good).

Since we couldn’t attached a photo relevant to this post, we will attach two important photos. “This is my serious face” and “Prodigal Feet” (the later was referred in the the first post).

We had a great post!!!

Papà and Mom composed a great post to go along with this photo but we lost our connection when we tried to publish...hence losing the whole post.

You'll have to content yourselves with only this:

The photo was sent to Papà today with the title "Papà ho fatto la cacca" "Papà I pooped". He was so happy that I had to take this picture. I am sure you are all happy for him and can relate to such moments of pure joy.
